VGA ANNOUNCED THE OPENING OF NAM A BANK VIETNAM MASTERS 2024 GOLF TOURNAMENT

Vietnam Golf Association (VGA) officially announced the start of the Nam A Bank Vietnam Masters 2024. This year's tournament marks an important milestone in the development history of Vietnam Masters when it is co-sponsored by the Vietnam Masters for the first time. Vietnam Professional Golf Tournament System (VGA Tour) and Asian Development Professional Golf Tournament System (ADT).

This year's tournament will bring together 144 domestic and international professional and amateur athletes. Including 71 professional athletes from the ADT system, 07 athletes designated by ADT, 40 athletes from official members of the Vietnam Professional Golf Tournament System (VGA Tour), 20 amateur athletes from the Vietnam Golf Association nominate the same 6 players to pass the extended qualifying round.

In which, the stars of the Vietnamese golf team such as SEA Games 32 champion Le Khanh Hung, voted best golfer in Vietnam in 2023 Nguyen Anh Minh also appeared. Competing with 71 Asian professional golfers is a valuable opportunity for Khanh Hung and Anh Minh to demonstrate their abilities and hone their bravery.

Nam A Bank Vietnam Masters 2024 takes place in stroke play format over 3 rounds of 18 holes (total 54 holes). After 36 holes, there is a cutoff to select the 50 athletes with the best results and a tie who are entitled to continue competing. The winner is the person with the lowest gross score at the end of the tournament.

The tournament takes place from June 12 to 14 at Royal Long An Golf & Villas (Duc Hue, Long An). Athletes compete in stroke play with 3 rounds of 18 holes (total 54 holes). After 36 holes, the 50 athletes with the best results will be selected to continue. The athlete with the lowest total score will be crowned champion. The total cash prize of Nam A Bank Vietnam Maters 2024 is up to 85,000 USD (more than 2 billion VND).
